The Declaration of Arbroath 3D Facsimile was photographed at Arbroath Abbey, in various locations throughout the grounds of this world-famous heritage site. A special moment in the early life of the project — recording the facsimile in the place most closely associated with the Declaration itself.
The piece photographed on the day would become the final prototype for the original 2016 life-size edition — the first major stage of the project inspired by the Declaration of Arbroath’s inclusion in the UK Memory of the World Register.
