A Fine Art Collectible Limited Edition 3D Facsimile
THE DECLARATION OF ARBROATH MONUMENT
On 3 April 2017, the official photo shoot of the Declaration of Arbroath Fine-Art 3D Facsimile moved from the grounds of Arbroath Abbey to the nearby Declaration of Arbroath Monument at West Common, Arbroath.
Creator Steven Patrick Sim, The Tartan Artisan®, is pictured with the facsimile beside the monument, wearing the Declaration of Scottish Independence kilt, pleated to the Lion Rampant.
The statue and monument form an important public tribute to the Declaration of Arbroath and its enduring place in Scotland’s national story.
Photographed by Drew Porch.

"for, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom – for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."
Extract from the Declaration of Arbroath, 6th April 1320
